Professional Legal Support in Complaints Against Law Firms,  Employment & Family Law

OVERWHELMED
UNSURE WHERE TO START
TRYING TO AVOID $5K IN SOLICITORS FEES

Strategy First, Documents Second.

This is where to start.

Legal document support informed by 17 years across the UK legal system, we offer fixed-fee legal document support built around outcomes, not templates.

When the situation feels overwhelming, Safeguard Legal helps turn uncertainty into a clear, structured next step. Not just document drafting, but organised legal support designed to help people understand their position, prepare properly, and move forward with confidence.

We provide professional support for people handling employment, family, and education matters themselves, and who need things done properly.

THE SITUATION RIGHT NOW

The legal system was not designed to be navigated alone.

Most people only realise this when they are already in it.

54%

rise in employment tribunal claims in a single year. 13,047 claims filed in just three months.

80%

of private family law proceedings now involve at least one party with no legal representation.

6.3 M

employees gaining new unfair dismissal rights under the Employment Rights Act 2025 — already in force.

Legal aid exists for those who qualify. Solicitors exist for those who can afford them. And in between, earning too much for one, priced out of the other, is a very large number of people with a very real legal problem and nowhere obvious to turn.

That is who Safeguard Legal was built for. Not as a compromise option. As a specialist service designed specifically for people who are capable, informed, and handling their own matter; but who need the documents done properly, by someone who genuinely understands what properly means.

What you need is not always a solicitor. It is a legal advisor who knows the law, understands how these documents are read, and can structure your case so it stands up, whether it goes to HR, a judge, or a tribunal. That is what we do.

"The access to justice gap is not closing. We built this firm to work inside it, with real credentials, fixed fees, and no pretence that people need more than they actually do."

WHAT WE DO

Legal matters require structure.

Serious preparation. Fixed fees. No surprises.

Safeguard Legal provides structured legal preparation for people handling family or workplace matters themselves.

We help you understand where you stand, what happens next, and how to present your position properly — in writing and in process.

Anyone can generate words. Not everyone can structure a case.

OUR SERVICES

Specialist support across Employment and Family Law.

We provide end-to-end matter support; not just a single document. Each instruction follows a structured pathway so that every stage of your situation is handled properly, from initial strategy through to final submission.

EMPLOYMENT LAW
Workplace disputes. Properly documented.

Whether you are raising a formal grievance, responding to a disciplinary, appealing a decision, or documenting a whistleblowing concern, the way your case is structured determines how it is received. A vague, emotional, or poorly reasoned document can undermine your position before anyone has read it fully. Our employment work draws on direct experience of how HR departments, managers, and employment tribunals read and assess these documents.

Grievance Letters
Disciplinary
Appeal Letters
Whistleblowing
DSAR Requests
Evidence Strategy

Full matter support available. We support clients from first document through to tribunal preparation — including employer response review, escalation letters, evidence building, and DSAR strategy. Packages available from £1,195.

FAMILY LAW
Family proceedings. Court-ready documents

Litigants in person in family proceedings face one of the most demanding legal environments there is. The documents submitted to court shape how your case is understood whether it be by the judge, by CAFCASS, and by the other side. Our family law drafting draws on real proceedings experience, including direct involvement in private law matters,  domestic violence applications, and Children Act proceedings with a  foundational understanding of how judges read and respond to these documents.

Witness Statements
Position Statements
Child Arrangements
Court Bundles
Legal Correspondence
C100 / FL401 Support

Ongoing matter support available. Family proceedings take an average of 43 weeks from application to resolution. We provide structured support across the full duration — not just a single document at the start.

SEN & EDUCTION LAW
SEND appeals. Parent rights. Properly documented.

Navigating the SEND system is one of the most document-intensive processes a parent can face. Local authority decisions about Education, Health and Care Plans are frequently challenged — and successfully so. But the quality of the documentation submitted determines how that challenge is received. Appeals to the First-tier Tribunal (SEND) require organised, clearly argued written representations. Our SEN support draws on direct experience of how these documents are structured and assessed.

This is not a generic complaints service. It is the application of 13 years of law firm operations experience to hold regulated firms accountable to the standards they are required to meet.

Complaints Against Law Firms
When your solicitor has let you down.

Most people who have been failed by a law firm do not know what their rights are, what the firm was obliged to do, or how to enforce accountability. We do. Our practice was built inside regulated law firms across SRA compliance, Lexcel accreditation, and legal aid contract management. We understand exactly what a regulated firm is required to do, when it has fallen short, and how to construct a complaint that cannot be dismissed.

WHY SAFEGUARD LEGAL

Many people do not need full legal representation. They need something more specific.

High-quality drafting. Strategic structure. Organised case presentation. Someone who understands both the legal framework and the human reality of what you are going through.

That is where Safeguard Legal comes in. And the difference between that and a solicitor is the fee model; not the standard of the work.

TRANSPARENCY

Questions we answer directly.

Are you solicitors?

No. Safeguard Legal is a non-reserved legal services provider. We are not regulated by the SRA and we do not conduct reserved legal activities as defined by the Legal Services Act 2007. What we provide — document drafting, structured guidance, and matter support — does not require SRA regulation. If your situation requires a solicitor, we will say so clearly and direct you appropriately.

Is the quality of the work the same?

Although we are not a law firm, the business is run by an experienced legal professional with 17 years of experience across regulated firms, including casework, compliance, and practice management. Our work is prepared to the standard expected within regulated practice, with the same level of care, structure, and quality control. The difference is the business model and fee structure, not the standard of the work itself.

What if my situation is outside your scope?

Our triage calculator identifies scope before quoting. If your matter requires urgent turnaround, involves an unusually complex situation, or needs regulated representation — the calculator will identify this immediately and provide appropriate guidance. We do not take on work we cannot deliver to the standard you need.

Your matter deserves to be handled properly.

At a price you can see before you commit.

Get your fixed price in under two minutes there is no commitment required.

If we are not the right service for your situation, we will tell you exactly who is.

Important: Safeguard Legal is an independent legal support service and is not a solicitors' firm. We do not carry out reserved legal activities under the Legal Services Act 2007. If your matter requires representation or a regulated legal service, we will recommend that you seek assistance from a regulated law firm or other appropriate professional.
